The Community Services Department consists of several divisions:
Central Administration
Civic Centre Switchboard/Reception
Recreation and Culture Division (see link below)
Municipal Day Nurseries Division (see link below)
Community Centres Division (see link below)

The Central Administration office of the department is located on Level 2 of the Civic Centre and employs the Commissioner Community Services, Office Supervisor and two Clerks.  This division provides clerical support to the Commissioner, the Recreation and Culture Division, and other divisions of the department as required, and staffs the Civic Centre Switchboard/Reception Kiosk.

The Civic Centre Switchboard/Reception Kiosk receives and transfers incoming (telephone and in person) public inquiries to the appropriate municipal departments and schedules the Civic Centre meeting rooms for municipal departments and local non-profit organizations.  For room booking information, contact 759-2500.
