The Community Centres Division is responsible for the operation of the City’s Community Centres including: the Essar Centre, John Rhodes Community Centre (arenas and pool), W.J. McMeeken Arena, Peter G. Manzo Pool and V.E. Greco Pool. |
This Division also operates concessions at Bellevue Park, Roberta Bondar Tent Pavilion, the Sault Ste. Marie Transit Terminal and Strathclair Sports Complex.

Concession Services:
The Community Centres Division provides concession services at the Essar Centre, John Rhodes Community Centre, and McMeeken Arena. Concession services are also provided during the summer months at Bellevue Park, Queen Elizabeth Field, Roberta Bondar Park and Tent Pavilion and Strathclair Fields.
Part-Time Employment:
The Community Centres Division employs over 100 part-time employees in the following capacities:
- Rink Attendant (must be a full-time student)
- Concession
- Ticket-takers
- Security
- Cashiers
- Summer Student (Office Clerk, must be a full-time student)
