The City would like to thank the community for another successful year of the 20-Minute Makeover. With nearly 800 participants, 2016 was the most successful year to date!
The Sault Ste. Marie community participated in the 5th Annual 20-Minute Makeover on May 10, 2016.
Registered participants were required to clean-up outside their home or business for at least 20 minutes, for example picking up litter or removing illegal graffiti tags. The intent of the event was to promote civic pride and community beautification, and acknowledge Earth Day!
Prizes, including gift cards, gift baskets, and rain barrels, were awarded for the best participant photos taken of litter cleanup/illegal graffiti removal during the event.
The City would also like to send a special shout out to R. M. Moore Public School who sent in the above pictures from their event and winning the School Photo Contest.
