The City is creating a new downtown strategy and we need your help! There are many ways to get involved and shape its development.

  • August 11 - Neighbourhood Resource Centre (138 Gore Street) - 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On June 27, 2016, City Council approved a Downtown Development Initiative Report evaluating current conditions in the downtown and proposing policy directions and major projects for the new strategy.

On February 3, 2014, City Council approved a Downtown Community Improvement Plan (DCIP), which proposes a series of initiatives aimed at revitalizing the Downtown area.
