Pointe Des Chenes Bus
Every Saturday and Sunday beginning June 24 Sault Transit offers service to Pointe Des Chenes day park.
Two busses per day operate from the downtown terminal (12:15 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.) to the Northern Avenue transfer point at Sault College (12:35 p.m. and 4:35 p.m.) and then to Pointe Des Chenes day park (1:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.).
The bus operates on weekends including statutory holidays in which Transit operates. For anyone travelling to the Point des Chenes day park utilizing City Transit, regular fees apply ($3.25 each way) children under the age of 12 are free when accompanied by a responsible adult (age 16 years or older).
Users of the beach should note that there is no lifeguard on duty and all Transit rules apply.
In addition to the beach, the Pointe Des Chenes Disc Golf course is open. Take advantage of the beautiful views and landscapes while watching your disc sail through the air, hearing the chains rattle with the perfect shot.
