Community Donates to Families Residing in Social Housing

On December 20, families who reside in Sault Ste. Marie's social housing community experienced an early Christmas feast and a surprise visit from Santa who brought stockings stuffed with toys and pajamas.
Grand Gardens North and ER Consulting generously provided dinner for children and their parents. Rivet Insurance provided pajamas for every child, while City Council, City staff and members of the District Social Service Administration Board donated the value of 195 stockings stuffed with toys.
This initiative was organized by the City's Social Services Department and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
