Thursday, January 29, 2015
The City of Sault Ste. Marie is pleased to announce the launch of a new online Seniors Services 55+ Directory.
The Directory offers valuable information about local resources and services for seniors 55+ living in the Sault Ste. Marie community. Information is broken down into five categories and pertains to: Financial, Housing, Legal, Medical, Safety and Security, and Health Services. Over 90 agencies and service providers are listed.
"I encourage the over 55 population to browse through the Directory and search for different services that may be of interest to you. We hope this information will enrich the quality of life for our community citizens," said Terry Lou Legros, Supervisor - Senior Services.
The Directory is located on the City website (
www.saultstemarie.ca) and was made possible through the New Horizon and Health Services Special Grant Program with assistance provided from Age-Friendly Sault Ste. Marie and Local Directory 211.
