Parking App

No coins? No Problem! Passport Parking Canada will allow drivers in Sault Ste. Marie to pay for metered street parking and City-run lots using their smartphone. 

 

Visit the mobile parking payment solution on your smartphone. Users can register and download the Passport Canada iOS and Android app. 

 

Street meters and pay and display terminals will continue to accept coins and credit cards and the mobile app parking will be added in addition. Drivers can download the Passport Parking app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. They will then have to create an account with their mobile phone number or email address and park anywhere a Passport Parking app sign and decal appears.

Parking sessions can be paid for on one’s phone and extended time can be added remotely. The Passport Parking app also warns users when their time is running low and a top-up option is given. Users may also keep track of their parking history and receive email receipts. The transaction fee for using the app is .15 cents.
