City cancels free public swimming events

Under the direction of Algoma Public Health with guidance from provincial and federal officials, the City will suspend any large events and public gatherings that have the potential of drawing in excess of 250 people.
As such, the City will proceed with cancelling the Tim Horton's free swimming events that were scheduled for Monday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the John Rhodes Community Centre.
Staff will continue to monitor the situation, and will advise the public of any additional cancellations as required. The City thanks the public for their understanding and cooperation during this time.
