City seeks nominations for initiative to recognize COVID-19 community heroes

The City of Sault Ste. Marie invites the submission of nominations of COVID-19 community heroes.
“Heroes of the day” will be published to the City’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) Monday to Friday (based on number of submissions received). A list of heroes will be published on a dedicated page on the City’s website.
The COVID-19 Heroes must be a Sault Ste. Marie area resident who is providing essential service during the pandemic. It can also be a Sault Ste. Marie and area group, organization or business who goes above and beyond to assist neighbours and others during this time.
Nominations will be received by the City Clerk at cityclerk@cityssm.on.ca and should include the name of the individual, group, organization or business and contact information for the nominee as well as a description of the contribution(s) made during the pandemic. Photos are encouraged.
