2022 Road Construction Projects

The City of Sault Ste. Marie’s road construction projects will be starting shortly. The following is a summary of 2022 projects.
Reconstruction
The following streets (or portions thereof) are scheduled for full reconstruction – roadway, sewers and watermain – necessitating road closures during the construction period:

Angelina Avenue

Passchendaele Lane

Cedar and Dufferin

Bloor Street

Central Street West Aqueduct Repairs

Trunk Road
Resurfacing
The following streets are scheduled to be resurfaced:

McNabb Street (Pine Street to Lake Street)

St. Georges Avenue (John Street to Birch Street)

Wellington Street West (Lyons Avenue to Henrietta)

Second Line West (Third Avenue to Edison Avenue)

Sunnyside Beach Road (Double culverts to Shatruck Drive)

Moss Road (Korah Road to Third Line)
