Notice: Temporary closure of RV holding tank dump station and commercial septage unloading changes

As part of upgrades currently underway at the West End Wastewater Treatment Plant at 55 Allen’s Side Road, improvements will be made to the commercial septage unloading station located in front of the facility. This work will affect access to both the commercial septage unloading station and the holding tank dump facilities provided for private recreational vehicles.
The holding tank dump facilities for private recreational vehicles will remain CLOSED for the balance of the 2021 season and will reopen in May, 2022.
Commercial septage haulers will be able to continue to unload at the existing off-load point, but they will be required to back up into position.The current drive-through configuration will be barricaded to allow for excavation of the roadway and building foundation.
As an alternative, the RV dumping station located at Shell (386 Great Northern Road) can be utilized.
